CompareClose is a browser-only tool that compares a U.S. Loan Estimate PDF with a Closing Disclosure PDF. It is operated by an individual developer. These terms govern your use of the site at https://hive-compareclose.pages.dev.

The service

The official CFPB sample Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure pair is free. Comparing your own PDFs requires a one-time $12 USD digital unlock, stored as a flag in localStorage on this device. There is no subscription and no account.

Not advice

CompareClose is informational only. It is not legal, tax, or lending advice. It is not a loan, not a financial product, and not a lender. Confirm every figure with your lender and settlement agent.

Your files

PDFs are parsed in your browser. They stay on this device and are never uploaded.

Payments and refunds

The $12 unlock is a one-time digital purchase processed by a third-party payment processor. Refunds are provided only as required by law or by that processor’s policy.

No warranty

The tool is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind. Figures are read from the forms you supply. A missing or misread label can produce an incomplete or incorrect comparison. Use is at your own risk.
